Summary

The Security Team Leadership (supervisor) qualification is designed to satisfy the needs of those taking on any role which involves supervising or leading a team.

Course Content

  • It is presented in one module broken down into seven sections commencing with an insight into the security industry and the principles of customer care. Staff supervisory procedures are covered in-depth in the module with the vital area of communications being at the core of the qualification.

Certification

Certification leads to inclusion on the “Security Supervisor” category of the National Qualifications Register (NQR) which is published on The Security Institute website. This qualification is valid for three years from date of certification. Applicants should ideally have five year’s security experience or equivalent. Fulfilment of all aspects of this certification scheme also leads to a Further Education and Training Awards Council (FETAC) Level 5 Certificate.

 

Cost

The course fee is €TBC per person. This includes all examination fees and certification. 

Tea / coffee and a light lunch are provided. Group rates are available and the course may be delivered in-house
where required. Cheques etc. are made payable to Security Industry Consultants . Credit card payments
also accepted and you can pay securely online by PayPal or credit card here.

A booking deposit or payment in full is required at least 24 hours in advance of course commencement.
